With the sudden drop in winter temperatures, in order to avoid freezing of the cooling system, pipeline expansion, or damage to the pump body of the laser cutting machine caused by low temperatures, and to ensure stable operation and service life of the equipment, we would like to remind you to complete the antifreeze replacement work in a timely manner. The specific matters are as follows:
If ordinary water or antifreeze with insufficient freezing point is used for the cooling system of the laser cutting machine, when the ambient temperature is below 0 ℃, the liquid is prone to freeze and expand in volume, which may cause pipeline rupture, circulation pump burnout, and in severe cases, equipment shutdown and maintenance, affecting production progress. Timely replacement of suitable antifreeze is a key step in winter equipment maintenance.
1. Selection of antifreeze: Special antifreeze for laser cutting machines should be selected, with a recommended freezing point not exceeding -35 ℃ (based on the lowest local temperature, the -45 ℃ model can be preferred in northern regions). It is prohibited to use tap water, glass water, or a mixture of different brands of antifreeze to avoid corrosion of pipelines or precipitation.
2. Replacement time limit: Please complete the replacement before the local temperature drops below 5 ℃. Antifreeze that has been used for more than 6 months should be replaced synchronously even if it is not winter to ensure the protective effect.
3. Operation specifications: Before replacement, the main power of the equipment should be turned off, and the old liquid should be emptied after the standby body cools down. The pipeline can be rinsed with clean water 1-2 times (to remove residual impurities), and then new liquid should be added to the "standard" mark of the storage tank. After starting the circulation pump and testing for no leakage, it can be used normally.
